Coalition Gatherings

The Anchorage Coalition on Homelessness welcomes the entire Anchorage community to attend Coalition meetings.  All meetings are open to the general public. The only requirement to become a member of the Coalition is to attend meetings and be ready to volunteer your time on community projects to reduce homelessness in Anchorage!

All meetings are held at Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (3745 Community Park Loop) from 1:30 – 3 pm every other month.  Meetings in 2010:  January 28th, March 25th,  May 27th, July 22nd, Sept. 23rd.  November's meeting is held in conjuction with the Alaska Housing and Homelessness Coalition Annual Meeting.  In 2009 this meeting will be held on Oct. 26th at 3:30 at the Marriot. City Wide Case Managers Meeting

If you are a homeless case manager there is a city wide case management meeting held at the Frontier Building on regular basis. Contact Charlie Daniels at 729-4948 or Julie Riley at 277-2450 for more information.

Project Homeless Connect

Project Homeless Connect is a one-day, one-stop event to provide housing, services, and hospitality in a convenient one-stop model directly to people experiencing homelessness in Anchorage. It is a way to bring service providers, government agencies, and the general community together to address a problem that affects everyone. The goal is to move from simply managing homelessness towards really ending it. READ MORE
